Role Description
Our client, a leader in advanced water treatment solutions, is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive growth in the municipal UV water treatment sector across North America. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned sales leader with deep expertise in UV disinfection technologies and a proven track record in municipal sales and public-sector procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead direct sales of municipal UV treatment systems for drinking water, wastewater, and water reuse applications.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the company’s municipal presence in North America.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a network of manufacturers’ representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Generate new opportunities with municipalities, utilities, and consulting/engineering firms.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation and technical presentations to proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, marketing, and product teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory changes, competitive activity, and market trends to stay ahead in the UV treatment space.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in the water industry with a strong focus on UV disinfection systems.
- Proven success in municipal sales, account development, and representative management.
- Strong understanding of public-sector procurement processes (RFPs, bids, contracts).
- Established network within municipalities, utilities, EPCs, and engineering firms.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S.
