Vertex Developer

We are looking for an experienced Vertex Developer to join our team and support the implementation, integration, and maintenance of Vertex tax solutions (e.g., Vertex O Series) within our ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of indirect tax processes, system configurations, and API or integration frameworks with platforms like SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support integrations between Vertex and ERP/financial platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Configure and maintain Vertex O Series settings to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance.
• Collaborate with business users, tax teams, and technical teams to understand and deliver tax requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues related to tax determination, invoice discrepancies, or integration failures.
• Assist in tax rate updates, jurisdiction setup, and product classification management in Vertex.
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, and change logs.
• Support audits and compliance activities by generating reports and maintaining system integrity.
