Senior Network & Infrastructure Monitoring Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network and Infrastructure Monitoring Administrator with deep proficiency in LogicMonitor to lead the development, deployment, and optimization of our observability systems. This role is critical to maintaining comprehensive visibility across our global IT and network infrastructure, ensuring rapid incident response through intelligent alerting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the LogicMonitor platform, including configuration of Collectors, LogicModules, Dashboards, and alert workflows.
• Architect and implement monitoring solutions for hybrid infrastructures, including on-premises systems and public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Customize LogicModules and SNMP-based monitoring for diverse infrastructure components.
• Build dynamic dashboards and NOC views tailored for executives, operations, and engineering teams.
• Integrate LogicMonitor with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and incident response platforms (PagerDuty, Slack).
• Automate monitoring workflows using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and the LogicMonitor REST API.
• Optimize alert thresholds and escalation procedures to reduce alert fatigue and improve response accuracy.
• Collaborate across network, cloud, DevOps, and application teams to ensure holistic monitoring coverage.
• Perform platform maintenance, including patching and upgrades, while maintaining compliance with security standards such as SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
• Document monitoring standards, LogicModule configurations, and conduct knowledge transfer to junior staff.
