IBM DataStage Developer

We are seeking an experienced IBM DataStage Developer to join our data integration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development, working with IBM InfoSphere DataStage to design, develop, and support complex data workflows. This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality, consistency, and availability of enterprise data across various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into data warehouses or data marts.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to determine data transformation rules and logic.
• Develop and maintain data mappings, workflows, and job schedules for consistent and reliable data delivery.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance tuning of ETL jobs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL-related issues, including data anomalies and job failures.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for ETL processes and data flow.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
