Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This role will support geotechnical and construction materials testing projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, educational, and infrastructure projects such as roadways and bridges.

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout and coordination of soil boring locations
• Support field data collection for geotechnical investigations
• Generate boring logs and select samples for laboratory testing
• Contribute to the preparation of geotechnical reports under supervision
• Perform basic engineering calculations related to soil bearing capacity and foundation systems
• Support construction materials testing and coordinate with field technicians
• Review, organize, and prepare data and reports for internal use

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering (M.S. preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
