Data Center Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to support the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server hardware, cabling, and networking equipment, along with a strong understanding of data center best practices and physical security protocols.

 Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking hardware, racks, and structured cabling systems.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and replacement of components (e.g., drives, memory, NICs).
• Monitor data center systems, environmental controls (cooling, power, fire suppression), and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage physical inventory, including receiving, labeling, tracking, and decommissioning equipment.
• Coordinate with remote engineering teams for server imaging, OS installations, and system updates.
• Follow change management processes and maintain accurate documentation of data center layout and asset records.
• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and access control procedures within the data center.
• Participate in on-call rotation and shift work as required for 24/7 operations.
